Claim Spread

Tesla introduced the electric supertruck Cybertruck and put it up for sale.

The vehicle, when Elon Musk called on a spectator to throw a small metal ball at the car during its first introduction in 2019, actually disappointed many people. Because the car’s window failed in this test and shattered.

Therefore, it is important for Tesla to showcase the durability of Cybertruck and the company is running special campaigns regarding this.

For this purpose, Tesla Motors recently released a video showing the ‘bullet resistance of the vehicle’. In the video, Teslabots can be seen showering the vehicle with bullets.

Evidence

The original post made by Tesla Motors Community on X (formerly Twitter) has already added a warning. The warning states that the video was made by the VFX (visual effects) team SoKrispyMedia and is not real.

On the other hand, about 3 hours after the post, the Tesla Motors Community account made another post in response. Here, it is reiterated that SoKrispyMedia is the creator of the video.

Additionally, in his response to the post in question, Elon Musk claimed that they would make it real next year.

SoKrispyMedia has created Teslabot videos with visual effects in recent months. In September 2023, they brought to life an imaginary world where Teslabot provides Uber service with the Cybertruck.
